Why families come back year after year

The Martinez family has been coming for 20+ years. The Whitneys booked 15 people for three days and still talk about it. This isn't a hotel that also does reunions — it's a resort where reunions are the point. Cabins are close enough that the little kids can walk between them. The pool, playground, and lake are all a few steps away. The grandparents get a porch. The teenagers get kayaks. Everyone eats dinner together.

How to plan it

1. Send us your dates, headcount, and rough age mix. 2. We'll suggest the right combination of cabins + RV sites and lock in group pricing. 3. Optional add-ons: private lawn use, catering coordination, kayak rentals. 4. Show up. We handle the rest.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can we book multiple cabins for a family reunion?+

Yes — that's what we're built for. We'll cluster cabins so cousins, grandparents, and the whole extended family are within a two-minute walk of each other.

How big can the group be?+

Anywhere from 10 to 60+. Between our 1-bedroom cabins, 2–3 bedroom cabins, our 5-bedroom cabin, and the RV park, we've hosted reunions of all shapes.

Is Lakeview Terrace Resort near Redding?+

45 minutes from Redding, CA via Hwy 299 — an easy drive for North State family and a manageable transfer from RDD airport for out-of-towners.

When should we book a reunion?+

6–9 months in advance for summer weekends. Holiday weekends (Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day) go fastest.

Can we bring dogs?+

Yes, most of our cabins are pet-friendly (2 dogs max per site). See our pet policy for details.

Is there stuff for kids to do?+

Pool, playground, kayaks and canoes, ping-pong, a snack store, and a whole lake. Kids sleep well here.
